On Nov 8, a cop of JK police was target killed by armed terrorists outside his residence in SD colony Batamaloo, Srinagar. Constable Tausif Ahmad, 29, was killed after the assailants shot him from a point-blank range. Ahmad, the lone breadwinner of his family, is survived by his wife, two children aged four and 5 five and an old mother.
The killing was widely condemned by political parties, who termed it a “dastardly” act. “Unequivocally condemn the cowardly & dastardly attack on 29 year old (sic) policeman in Batmaloo (sic), Srinagar in which he lost his life. No words of condemnation would be enough! May Allah grant him a place in Jannat. Our hearts go out to his family and friends at this time of grief,” the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference tweeted. LG Manoj Sinha also condemned the deplorable act of violence against slain police cop.

Unfortunately, the killing spree has been stretched into this month as well, while the killings had already tolled to dual numbers in last month. These terrorist operations have resulted in the frozen movement of the local citizenry. The killing thread mostly took vintage of night hours and wee hours to conduct their evil operations. KRF strongly condemns the attack on JKP cop.
