In a horrific act of terrorism, Ghulam Hassan Lone, a devoted member of the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party, was tragically assassinated in his residence in Devsar, south Kashmir. Lone had sustained multiple bullet injuries and was later pronounced dead at the hospital. This heinous attack left the community reeling, marking the second targeted killing of a political worker in Kulgam within a span of just three days, and the fourth such incident in the last 10 days of 2021. The senseless violence sent shockwaves of grief and outrage, leaving families and friends to mourn the loss of another innocent life.
