In Wake of Terror Attacks, Two Cops Continues to Battle For Life

On March 22, a policeman who was critically injured in a “brief shootout” with terrorists near the Zoonimar area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district continues to battle for life.
Another policeman shot at by the terrorists in the Bolochipora area of Soura in Srinagar is also struggling for life. Both the wounded are being treated in tertiary care hospitals. Constable identified as Imran Ahmad, posted as PSO to SDPO Kothibagh was fired upon by the terrorists at Bohlochipora. He has been hospitalised for treatment.
Constable Aamir Hussian, received injuries after a terrorist attacked a police party, the said injured who have bullets injuries in the upper parts of the body including the neck, remains to be critical. “There were earlier reports which suggested his passing away but it has been clarified that information was due to confusion,”
There was a brief shootout in which the 30-year-old policeman was critically injured. One terrorist was also injured and probably escaped from the spot.
KRF denounces the heap of violence in the valley in wake of evolving peace and stability.
