Pickleball Makes Its Debut in Kashmir with First-Ever Clinic

The valley of Kashmir witnessed the introduction of pickleball. The first-ever demo and clinic was held at WHS Sports Hub in Sonwar Bagh, Srinagar. The event, organized by Franklin Sports, marked the establishment of Jammu & Kashmir’s first pickleball court.

Manish Rao, Pickleball Pro and Director of Franklin, India conducted the clinic. Meanwhile, the participants had the opportunity to learn the basics of the game. Besides they got the opportunity to understand its rules and gain valuable insights from experienced players. Consequently, the event attracted a diverse group of attendees, eager to explore this rapidly growing sport.

Pickleball, which combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis, is gaining popularity worldwide for its engaging and accessible nature, appealing to players of all ages and skill levels. The introduction of this sport in Kashmir represents a significant expansion of the region’s sports offerings, providing a fresh and exciting activity for local communities.
