In a separate incident that unfolded in the district of Kathua, an encounter resulted in the death of two terrorists and a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel . The terrorists, who had infiltrated the area recently, were equipped with an M4 carbine assault rifle made in the US.

The encounter took place in a highly sensitive area within the Kathua district. The two terrorists involved had managed to infiltrate the region undetected until the encounter. They were heavily armed with an M4 assault rifle as a primary weapon. The rifle is a high-precision weapon manufactured in the United States. Unfortunately, the intense encounter led to the loss of a brave CRPF personnel. He fought valiantly in the face of danger. The encounter ended with the elimination of the two infiltrating terrorists. The elimination of these terrorists ensured the safety of the region.

Anand Jain, the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) for the Jammu zone, made a statement regarding the recent terrorist activities. He confirmed that the terrorists involved in the Kathua encounter were part of a group that had recently infiltrated the area.

Anand Jain, who holds the high-ranking position of ADGP in the Jammu zone, addressed the situation with a serious tone. He revealed that the terrorists, who were eliminated in the recent encounter, were not acting alone but were part of a larger group that had newly infiltrated the region. This revelation has led to the entire Jammu region being put on high alert.

In response to this threat, search operations have been initiated throughout the region and are currently ongoing. Jain expressed the possibility that there might be more terrorists present in the area, a fact that cannot be dismissed. The security forces are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to ensure the safety and security of the region. The situation is being closely monitored and further updates will be provided as the search operations progress.

The attacks have resulted in the death of a CRPF jawan and several civilians, with many more injured. The security forces have recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition, including IEDs, grenades, and currency notes, from the encounter sites.

The region has witnessed four firefights and attacks in the last 96 hours, with terrorists targeting security forces and civilians. The attacks were reported from areas known to be free of terrorism, indicating a shift in the terrorist strategy.

The government has heightened security measures in the region, with a massive deployment of forces to trace and neutralize the terrorists. The public has been advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.

The recent attacks have raised concerns about the growing threat of terrorism in the region and the need for increased vigilance and cooperation between the security forces and the public.
