On Nov 17 in a grenade attack by terrorists two para-military personnel of CRPF and two civilians were injured in Palhalan chowk in Baramulla. The attack aims to demoralise the security forces and instil fear among the common masses.
These deplorable attacks of mindless violence cause undue hardships to the people whose meagre earnings- shops, small business units are affected. Mostly the labourers get a bad hit on their respective economies given the attacks that occur in public places like markets.
The security forces find it hard to sieve the terrorists who camouflage the local populace and perform their nefarious acts of violence. This, in turn, affects the freedom of the local populace whose movement is hampered for checking and reviewing them.
